Our Fellows

Adejoh Akeji

A young man with unusual passion for the empowerment of the less privileged, Adejoh loves to involve himself in human capacity development. He is a native of Ofu LGA in Kogi State. As a Literacy Fellow, Adejoh will be joining other fellows to promote literacy, entrepreneurial & Information Technology skills among the non-literate adults and out-of-school youths in selected communities in Niger State Nigeria. He plays piano, drums and also skilled in web design, graphic design, social media management. Adejoh loves to travel and meet people. He also loves generating new & creative ideas that can add value to his community and develop relevant business ventures.

Noah Ilufoye

Noah is currently an undergraduate student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, where he is currently studying Crop and Environmental Protection. A young man with passion for writing, Noah joined Literacy Fellowship as an Agricultural Literacy Fellow with the aim of helping rural farmers in Ogbomoso and its environs to gain access to relevant information and skills for mechanized farming.

Jechoniah Ayausi

Jecho studied Environmental Management Technology (B.Tech) from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University in Bauchi, Bauchi State. Also a member of Community Health Agency (CHA) in Bauchi, Jecho joined Literacy Fellowship as an Environmental Literacy Fellow with the aim of creating awareness on climate change and other environmental issues among the inhabitants of Bauchi State.

Olutomiwa Binuyo

Tomiwa is a final year B.Sc. Economics student at the University of Ibadan. A member of the All Nigeria United Nations Students and Youths Association, an organization which promotes the ideals of the United Nations and gets involved deeply in community service, Tomiwa joined Literacy Fellowship to empower adolescent girls in selected high schools in Ibadan on reproductive health & rights and life skills. He is also the current features editor of the Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan. He loves writing and counseling.

Roseline Owoseeni

Roseline is a young lady who is passionate about overall youth development for self sustenance and community advancement. She is involved in training young people on vocational skills on shoe and bag making, recycling, ladies headbands and belt and other life building skills. Roseline joined Literacy Fellowship as a Health Literacy Fellow.

Olumuyiwa Kotila

Olumuyiwa is a young Psychologist and social entrepreneur with passion for media, sound and Information technology. A native of Ifaki-Ekiti in Ekiti State Nigeria, Muyiwa hold B.Sc. Psychology from the University of Ado-Ekiti in Nigeria and a graduate membership of the Institute of Strategic Management International. As a Literacy Fellow, Muyiwa will be joining other fellows in basic and information literacy programmes, equipping community people with relevant information required to be active, responsible and responsive citizens of Nigerian society. Muyiwa loves to read and meet people.

Tomilola Oguntade

Tomi is a young lady with passion for reproductive and public health. A pharmacist by training, Tomi is a native of Ada in Osun State. She is the major anchor of LEEDNigeria’s community health campaigns targeted at the selected CDAs in Oyo State, Nigeria. Tomi holds Bachelor of Pharmacy from Obafemi Awolowo University and currently studying for her M.Sc. in Public Health at the University of Ibadan. During her fellowship year, Tomi will be educating adolescent girls on reproductive health and rights and other health literacy issues.

Adebodun Adeleke Adedoyin

Adedoyin Adebodun, Adeleke is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, ile ife Nigeria. He is currently on a master’s degree programme in Energy studies (Renewable Energy) at the Centre for Petroleum, Energy Economics and Law, University of Ibadan, Nigeria; also on MacArthur Foundation Scholarship. Adebodun is a creative young man with passion for innovation and inventions. He is one of the two young engineering students that designed and fabricated the Chicken de-feathering machine that removes feather of chicken in 10seconds. As a Health Literacy Fellow, Adebodun will be working on a project on climate change and renewable energy.

Micheal Ade Alabi

Michael is a student of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State where he is studying Computer Engineering Technology. He is devoted to organizing developmental programmes for youths in marginalized communities. Michael joined Literacy Fellowship as Information Literacy Fellow with the aim of empowering young people with functional literacy and life skills. He is a professional blogger with a passion for the positive use of the internet, mass media and social media.

Abayomi Odewale

Abayomi is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) ile ife Nigeria. A young man with passion for environment and sustainable development, Abayomi loves writing on environmental issues, especially on climate change adaptation and mitigation. As a Health Literacy Fellow, Abayomi will be creating awareness on climate change and other environmental literacy issues threatening the existence of mankind.
